How to Play

Predictor147 is a snooker score prediction game. Predict the frame scores of professional snooker matches, compete in private leagues with friends, and climb the leaderboard throughout the season.

Getting started

1

Create an account

Click Register in the top navigation and sign in with your email. Your account is created automatically on first login.

2

Browse upcoming events

The Events page shows all WST tournaments for the current season — upcoming, live, and completed. Click any event to see the draw and start predicting.

3

Join or create a league

Head to My Leagues to create a private league and invite friends, or join an existing league using an invite code. Leagues track cumulative points across all events in the season.

Leagues

Creating a league

Go to My Leagues → Create league. Give it a name and share the invite code with your friends.

Joining a league

Go to My Leagues → Join league. Enter the invite code shared by the league owner.

League standings update automatically as match results come in. Points accumulate across the entire season — the player with the most points at the end of the season wins the league.

Once a round's predict-by deadline passes, you can view all league members' predictions for that round via View member predictions on your league page.

Making predictions

1

Open an event

Navigate to an upcoming event and select a round. Matches with a published draw will show two score input boxes.

2

Enter your predicted frame score

Enter how many frames you think each player will win. One player must reach the winning frame total — for example, in a best of 11 match (first to 6), valid scores are 6–0 through 6–5. Predictions save automatically when you move to the next field.

3

Change your prediction anytime before the deadline

You can update your prediction as many times as you like until the round's predict-by deadline. The deadline is shown in amber on each round. Once the deadline passes, predictions lock automatically.

Locking predictions early

You can voluntarily lock an individual match prediction before the round deadline. Once locked:

Irreversible

You cannot change or unlock a locked prediction.

Revealed early

Your league members can see your locked prediction immediately.

View others

You can see other members' predictions if they've also locked theirs.

To lock, click the Lock prediction button on a match row after entering your score. A confirmation dialog will appear to remind you the action is irreversible.

If you have not locked early, your predictions are hidden from other league members until the round deadline passes — at which point all predictions are revealed simultaneously.

Scoring & points

Points are awarded automatically once a match result is confirmed. Each match you predict is scored independently.

Correct winner and exact frame score5 pts

You predicted the winners exact frame score — e.g. you said Trump 10–7 and Trump won 10–7. Worth 5 points as exact scores are particularly difficult to predict, especially in longer matches.

Correct winner, close score2 pts

You picked the right winner and your predicted loser's frame count is within 2 frames of the actual result — e.g. you said 10–5 and the result was 10–7.

Correct winner only1 pt

You picked the right winner but your predicted score was more than 2 frames away from the actual result.

Wrong winner0 pts

The player you predicted to win lost. No points awarded regardless of the frame score.

Example — Best of 19 match (first to 10)

Actual result: Trump 10 – 8 Wilson

You predicted 10–85 pts ★ Exact score
You predicted 10–62 pts ✓ Close score
You predicted 10–31 pt ✓ Correct winner
You predicted 8–100 pts ✗ Wrong winner
